1. Scope and contracting party
These terms apply to registrations for events (one session) and workshops (several sessions) offered on Interpsy.
Your contracting party is the professional hosting the event (the host), whose name, professional title and address are shown on the event page before you register. Interpsy provides the platform, payment processing and the video room, and issues receipts in the name and on behalf of the host.
If a team of professionals offers an event together (main host and co-hosts with a revenue share), you conclude a contract with each of them for their share of the price; the shares and all contracting parties are shown on the event page before you register. You pay in one payment, and each professional is responsible for delivering their part and for their own taxes. Interpsy acts solely as an intermediary.
For events run by Interpsy itself, Interpsy is your contracting party: M. Onur Sentepe (Einzelunternehmen — Interpsy), Laxenburger Straße 2D/1/4, 1100 Wien, Österreich. Email: legal@interpsy.at.
2. Nature of the events
Psychoeducational event – no psychotherapy, no diagnosis, no treatment. Events and workshops share knowledge and offer room for exchange; they do not replace individual treatment and are not covered by health insurance.
Interpsy is not a crisis service. In an acute crisis, call the emergency number (112) or the crisis lines for your country shown on the page.
3. Registration and participation
- Registration requires a verified Interpsy account (email code) and is open to people aged 18 and over.
- You choose a display name; a first name or nickname is enough. The host only sees this name, never your email address.
- By registering you expressly consent to Interpsy processing your registration, even though it may allow conclusions about your health (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by cancelling your registration.
- For paid events the contract is concluded when you click “Register and pay” and the payment succeeds; your seat is held for 30 minutes until the payment arrives.
- If the event is full, you can join the waitlist. When a seat becomes free, you move up automatically for free events; for paid events you receive an offer that is valid for up to 24 hours (and ends at the latest 2 hours before the start).
4. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices in euros. Whether VAT is included is stated on the event page and on the receipt. Payments are processed by Mollie; Interpsy does not store card details.
Discount codes are funded by the host and apply to events only. One code can be redeemed per registration.
You receive a receipt (simplified invoice) issued by Interpsy in the name and on behalf of the host. For team events you receive one receipt per contracting party for their share; refunds are spread across all shares in proportion.
5. Cancellation by participants
- If you cancel up to 24 hours before the first session starts, you get the full amount paid back.
- Within the withdrawal period (14 days from registration) your statutory right of withdrawal also applies (section 9).
- After that, no refund is possible unless the host cancels or reschedules a session (section 6).
- You can end a free registration at any time with one click. Your seat goes to the next person on the waitlist.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling by the host
- If the host cancels a single session, you get that session's share of the price back (pro rata by duration).
- If the host cancels the whole event, you get the full amount back before the first session, and afterwards the shares of all sessions not yet held.
- If the host reschedules a session, you can opt out of that session until its new start and get its share back.
- Refunds are made automatically to the original payment method. We inform you of every change by email with an updated calendar entry.
7. Online rooms and in-person events
- Online sessions take place in a protected video room that you enter from your registration page from 10 minutes before the start. Nothing is recorded.
- Camera and microphone are off when you enter; keeping your camera off and using a nickname is absolutely fine. In webinars only the hosts speak.
- Please keep everything others share in the room confidential. Anyone who disrupts the session or demeans others may be removed from the room.
- For in-person events the address shown on the event page applies; please follow the house rules of the venue.
8. Problems and complaints
If a session did not take place as announced, you can file a complaint via “Report a problem” on your registration page within 24 hours after it ended. Interpsy reviews the case and may arrange a full or partial refund.
Please send any other requests to legal@interpsy.at.
9. Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal: you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, one click on “Withdraw from contract” on your registration page is enough. You can also inform us (M. Onur Sentepe (Einzelunternehmen — Interpsy), Laxenburger Straße 2D/1/4, 1100 Wien, Österreich, email: legal@interpsy.at) of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email); you may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal: if you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction; you will not incur any fees as a result.
If you requested the event to begin during the withdrawal period, you pay a proportionate amount for the sessions already held when you withdraw; you get the shares of the sessions not yet started back. Your right of withdrawal expires once all sessions have been fully provided.
After a withdrawal you receive a confirmation with date and time by email.
10. Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

11. Data protection
Our privacy policy explains which data we process for registration, payment, the video room and reminders. We delete free registrations 12 months after the event ends; payment records are kept for seven years under Section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO).
Co-hosts of a team only receive what they need to run the event: your display name in the video room and the number of registrations. Co-hosts do not see your e-mail address, the participant list or who paid what; Interpsy relays their messages to participants. Receipts and payouts of their shares contain no participant names.
