Payouts
Setting up payments, calmly
Free intro calls work before that. Paid sessions open as soon as the payment provider has approved your account.
What the payment provider needs from you
- An ID document for identity verification
- A bank account (IBAN) in your name
- Your address and practice details – prefilled from your billing details
- A website: your Interpsy profile page, reachable even during review

FAQ
Good to know
What does Interpsy cost?
Applying and your profile are free, and there is no monthly or setup fee. Interpsy only retains a platform service fee from paid bookings – you’ll find the current rates and a worked example above.
What happens if clients cancel?
Up to 24 hours before the appointment, the full amount is refunded. For later cancellations, half is refunded and the other half is paid out to you (minus the service fee). If someone doesn’t show up, you receive your fee as usual. If you cancel, clients get the full amount back.
How does Interpsy protect health data (Art. 9 GDPR)?
We only process health-related information with explicit consent. Our service providers store data in the EU, video sessions are not recorded, and session notes are stored encrypted. Interpsy does not diagnose or give treatment recommendations.
What about invoices (Honorarnote) and health insurance (ÖGK)?
Sessions on Interpsy are private services. Depending on the professional title and the insurer – such as ÖGK, SVS or BVAEB – clients can apply for a cost subsidy; reimbursement is not guaranteed. Automatic invoices (Honorarnoten) are in preparation; until then, we provide receipts for submission on request.
I’m in training under supervision – can I apply?
Yes. You also upload proof of your supervision. Your profile shows your training status and training institution openly, and clients confirm when booking that they are aware of it.
Which languages can I work in?
You add your profile text in German, English or Turkish. You can choose your session languages from 18 languages, and clients can search specifically by language.
How do clients find me?
Through search – with filters such as language and topic – and through your profile, which you can share yourself. Placements cannot be bought, and your fee tier has no influence on ranking.
